Wat causes bubbling sensation and slight twinges in left ovary. My period is due but never felt this b4.?

I ovulated on the left side this month and my period is due any day but I feel this weird bubbling sensation and slight sore twinges on the left side I am trying to get pregnant but have been unsuccessful as of yet. Can anyone shed any light on whats wrong
