Aren't there more important things to argue about than Gay Marriage in this country?

I don't mean to sound cynical, but this country is ran by large corporations. THEY are the ones who are really in charge. Even if they screw up they'll get bail-outs while other smaller businesses and mom and pop shops are allowed to fail. But yes, there are more important things than gay marriage for the time being. However I sincerely hope that I'll see equality for LGBT in my lifetime.
