I need to find out if my kid's dad has a dui or dwi.?

He has had one in the past and is not aloud to have alcohol around my son now, but can still drive with him. He randomly quit picking him up for dinner nights, and quit driving all together, he has a nice car low gas mileage but just quit. We needed My son back at a certain time one day and he couldn't give us a yes or no answer he had to call his dad to see if he could give him a ride, couldn't get ahold of him so took his car to drop off my son. it was early feb and there were no bugs that time of year yet his car was covvered and dusty like it had been put up for a while. I think he got a nother dui or dwi how can I find out? It is very important as of this point he can still legaly drive with my child untill I can find out if he got a 2nd one. thanks
